Ylimpiin is a municipality situated in the northern province of Xland, near the confluence of the Larn and Marte rivers. The town lies at an elevation of approximately 320 metres above sea level and covers an area of 48 square kilometres. According to the latest census conducted in 2021, Ylimpiin has a population of roughly 6,800 inhabitants, predominantly belonging to the Ylin ethnic group, with a minority of Xar and Tok peoples.
