Voltajallikas is a Finnish term that translates to "voltage source" in English. It refers to any device or component that provides a constant or nearly constant electrical potential difference (voltage) across its terminals, regardless of the current drawn by the load. Ideal voltage sources maintain a fixed voltage value. In reality, all voltage sources exhibit some internal resistance, which causes the output voltage to decrease slightly as the current demand increases.
