Valgusdetektorites, also known as light detectors or photodetectors, are electronic devices that convert light into an electrical signal. They are essential components in a wide range of applications, from simple light switches to sophisticated scientific instruments. The fundamental principle behind their operation is the photoelectric effect, where incident photons cause the emission of electrons or the generation of an electrical current.
