Vakuuminnsprøytning is a manufacturing process used to create composite materials. It involves drawing a resin into a mold using a vacuum, which then saturates a reinforcement material, typically fiberglass or carbon fiber. This method is a variation of resin infusion and is particularly effective for producing complex shapes with good structural integrity and a high fiber-to-resin ratio.

The process begins by placing the dry reinforcement material into a mold. A vacuum bag is then sealed over the reinforcement and mold, creating a sealed cavity. A resin inlet is positioned to allow the liquid resin to enter the mold. Once a sufficient vacuum is pulled, the resin is introduced through the inlet. The vacuum draws the resin through the reinforcement, ensuring complete saturation. After the resin has cured, the vacuum bag and associated materials are removed, leaving behind the finished composite part.
