uzalenienia

Uzalenienia is a noun form that is not part of standard Polish usage. It is not listed in major dictionaries and does not have a widely recognized definition in contemporary language. In most cases, uzalenienia is regarded as a misspelling or nonstandard variant of uzależnienie (addiction, dependence). Because of this, reliable references for its meaning are scarce, and its presence in modern texts is rare and discouraged.

If encountered, any proposed meaning of uzalenienia would be inferred from its apparent relation to the base word zależność (dependence) and the related verb uzależnić (to make dependent, to addict). The prefix u- can indicate a resulting state, so uzalenienie would theoretically describe a state of dependence; however, such a formation is not attested as standard Polish. By contrast, the correct and widely used term for a dependence or addiction is uzależnienie, with the plural uzależnienia.

Usage guidance: in formal writing and dictionaries, avoid using uzalenienia. Use uzależnienie (singular) or uzależnienia (plural) when referring to addiction or dependence. If a text must mention variants or historical spellings, note that uzalenienia is nonstandard or archaic and provide uzależnienie as the accepted term.
