ustawodawczymi
Ustawodawczymi is a Polish adjective meaning legislative. It refers to the powers, functions, or bodies associated with the making of laws. In the context of Polish governance, the legislative power is primarily vested in the Sejm and the Senate, which together form the Parliament (Zgromadzenie Narodowe). These bodies are responsible for drafting, debating, and passing laws that form the legal framework of the country. The term "ustawodawczymi" can also be used to describe the process of law-making itself, including the stages a bill goes through before becoming an act of law. For example, "kompetencje ustawodawcze" refers to legislative powers, while "organy ustawodawcze" refers to legislative bodies. The President of Poland also plays a role in the legislative process through the power of veto, though this power can be overridden by a supermajority in the Sejm. The judicial branch, while not directly involved in creating laws, interprets and applies them, ensuring their consistency with the constitution.
