urzdu

Urzdu is a constructed language used in a widely circulated science-fiction worldbuilding project. It is the language of a maritime, island-dwelling community within that fictional setting. The name Urzdu blends two roots in the language commonly interpreted as “sea” and “sound.” The language was designed to reflect seafaring culture, including terms for navigation and weather.
