Ultrazvukových refers to something that utilizes ultrasound. Ultrasound is sound waves with frequencies higher than the upper audible limit of human hearing, typically around 20 kilohertz (20,000 Hz). These high-frequency sound waves are produced by a transducer and travel through a medium, such as water, air, or tissue.

When these waves encounter an interface between two different materials or densities, some of the sound energy is reflected back to the transducer. This reflected sound, known as an echo, is then detected and processed by the ultrasound device. By measuring the time it takes for the echo to return and the strength of the echo, the device can create an image or gather information about the object or area being examined.

The applications of ultrasound are widespread. In medicine, it is used for diagnostic imaging, such as visualizing internal organs, monitoring pregnancies, and guiding medical procedures. In industry, ultrasound is employed for non-destructive testing of materials, cleaning, and welding. It is also used in animal echolocation, sonar systems for navigation and object detection, and even in certain types of pest deterrents. The ability of ultrasound to penetrate various materials and provide detailed information without using ionizing radiation makes it a valuable tool in many fields.
