The tögrög (Mongolian Cyrillic: төгрөг; ISO code MNT; symbol ₮) is the official currency of Mongolia. It is issued by the Bank of Mongolia, the country’s central bank. The tögrög was introduced in 1925 as Mongolia’s national currency and is subdivided into 100 möng.

The Bank of Mongolia is responsible for currency issuance and for implementing monetary policy to maintain price stability and support economic growth. In everyday use, the tögrөг appears in a range of banknotes and coins, with various denominations designed for everyday transactions and larger payments.

The tögrög is used throughout Mongolia and in border areas where cross-border trade occurs.
