triphenylarsenic
Triphenylarsenic is an organoarsenic compound with the chemical formula (C6H5)3As, often written as AsPh3. It is a white crystalline solid and is air-stable. Triphenylarsine is a derivative of arsine, AsH3, where the three hydrogen atoms have been replaced by phenyl groups. It is a member of the tertiary arsines and is structurally analogous to triphenylphosphine and triphenylstibine.
Triphenylarsine is typically synthesized by the reaction of arsenic trichloride with phenylmagnesium bromide (a Grignard reagent)
Due to the toxicity associated with arsenic compounds, triphenylarsine should be handled with care. Skin contact
