Trietilfoszfát, also known as TEP or triethyl phosphate, is an organic chemical compound with the chemical formula (C2H5)3PO4. It is the ethyl ester of phosphoric acid. TEP is a colorless liquid with a mild, fruity odor. It is soluble in many organic solvents but has limited solubility in water.

Industrially, triethyl phosphate is produced by the reaction of phosphorus oxychloride with ethanol. It finds use as a plasticizer in various polymers, including cellulose esters and vinyl resins, to improve their flexibility and workability. TEP also functions as a solvent and a component in some flame retardant formulations. In the past, it was also used as an anti-foaming agent in certain industrial processes.

Triethyl phosphate has a relatively low toxicity profile, but like many chemicals, prolonged or excessive exposure should be avoided. It is considered biodegradable, breaking down into ethanol and phosphoric acid in the environment. Its volatility is moderate, and it is not generally considered a significant air pollutant under normal conditions of use.
