Transfiguran is the third person plural present indicative form of the Spanish verb transfigurar. The word denotes the action of transforming or changing the form, appearance, or character of someone or something. In everyday use, it can describe physical metamorphosis as well as metaphorical or symbolic changes, such as shifts in roles, states, or perception.

The verb transfigurar derives from Latin transfigurare, formed from trans- “across, beyond” and figura “form, image.” The combination conveys the sense of moving beyond a visible form to another representation or state.
