This means that while the person is still officially registered at their permanent home, mail will be sent to the temporary address during the period of registration. The duration for which a temporary address can be registered varies depending on the reason for the stay. Upon returning to their permanent residence, the individual must update their address again to reactivate their permanent address for postal delivery.
