Tietokonenäyttö is the Finnish term for a computer display or monitor. It is an output device that displays information in visual form. Modern computer displays are typically flat-panel displays, using technologies such as Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED).

Early computer displays were cathode-ray tube (CRT) monitors, which were bulky and consumed more power. The resolution of a display, measured in pixels (picture elements), determines the sharpness and detail of the image. Common resolutions include 1920x1080 (Full HD) and 3840x2160 (4K Ultra HD).

Refresh rate, measured in Hertz (Hz), indicates how many times per second the image on the screen is updated. Higher refresh rates result in smoother motion, which is particularly beneficial for gaming and video playback. The aspect ratio, the proportional relationship between the width and height of the screen, is another important characteristic, with common ratios being 16:9 and 16:10.

Computer displays connect to the computer's graphics processing unit (GPU) via various ports, such as HDMI, DisplayPort, or DVI. The color depth, or the number of bits used to represent the color of each pixel, affects the range and accuracy of colors that can be displayed.
