textTV
TextTV was a teletext service that operated in the United Kingdom. It launched in 1999, following the privatization of the BBC's teletext service, Ceefax. TextTV was initially a joint venture between major UK broadcasters, including ITV, Channel 4, and Sky. The service provided a wide range of information, including news, sports results, weather forecasts, television listings, and financial data, accessible through a television set using a remote control.
