Tegusõnal is the adessive singular form of the Estonian noun tegusõna, which means “verb.” In grammar discussions, tegusõnal is used to refer to the relation “on the verb” and appears primarily as an inflected form in linguistic descriptions rather than as a separate lexical entry in everyday language.
