Taajuusosion, also known as frequency modulation (FM), is a method of transmitting information by varying the frequency of a carrier wave in accordance with the information signal. This technique is widely used in radio broadcasting, television, and wireless communications due to its ability to reduce noise and improve signal quality.

In FM, the frequency of the carrier wave is modulated by the audio signal, resulting in a constant amplitude but varying frequency.
