Sähköturvallisuuslaki is a Finnish law that regulates electrical safety in the design, installation, use and maintenance of electrical installations and equipment. The act covers electrical systems used by households, businesses, public authorities and other entities, including generation, transmission, distribution and use at work and in buildings. Its purpose is to prevent electrical hazards such as electric shocks, fires and equipment failures by promoting safe operation through proper design, installation, maintenance and inspections.

Key provisions establish responsibilities for owners, operators and employers, as well as for electrical installers and service personnel. It interacts with other Finnish safety legislation, notably the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and aligns with EU directives on electrical equipment safety.
