syrovátkový
Syrovátkový is an adjective in Czech that denotes relation to syrovátka, the liquid by-product of cheese making. Syrovátka is primarily water with lactose and whey proteins such as beta-lactoglobulin and alpha-lactalbumin, and it may contain minerals. The term syrovátkový is used to describe products or ingredients that are derived from or contain whey, as opposed to those based on whole milk.
The most common use is in reference to syrovátkové proteiny, whey protein concentrates or isolates, which are
