Spegelreflexkamera is the Swedish term for a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera. This type of camera uses a mirror system to allow the photographer to see the exact image that will be captured by the lens. When the photographer looks through the viewfinder, light enters the lens and is reflected by a mirror onto a prism. This prism then directs the light upwards into the viewfinder eyepiece.
