Solidariamente is an adverb in Spanish used to indicate that several persons or entities are bound by an obligation in a jointly and severally manner. In a legal context, it expresses a type of liability where each obligor can be held responsible for the entire debt, allowing the creditor to demand performance in full from any one of them. If one party pays the whole amount, they may seek reimbursement from the others for their proportional shares, according to the applicable law.

In civil and commercial law, the figure of solidary liability facilitates the creditor’s recovery when several obligors act together. It is distinct from shared or apportioned liability, where the burden is divided in advance among the deudors; in a solidary regime, the obligation withstands until the debt is fully satisfied, and the distribution among deudors depends on recourse rights after payment.

The term derives from the adjective solidario, related to the idea of unity, mutual support, and interdependence. It is used mainly in legal and contractual texts, where precision about the strength of the obligation matters. In general discourse, solidariamente can also convey acts or attitudes of solidarity, though its most common use remains technical.
