Siimoja is a fictional language family used in speculative fiction and constructed language communities. It does not correspond to any documented natural language.

Etymology and name: The term Siimoja is a constructed label with varying origins across authors. In most depictions it is associated with the imagined island chain of Siima in the world of Nare.

Geography and speakers: In its primary setting, Siimoja is spoken on the Siima archipelago and in coastal trading towns. It comprises several dialects, including Northern Siimoja, Southern Siimoja, and Coastal Siimoja, with mutual intelligibility depending on the narrator.

Phonology: Siimoja uses a simple CV syllable structure, with seven vowels (a e i o u) and a modest consonant inventory (p t k m n s l r h). Stress typically falls on the penultimate syllable; length distinctions exist only in certain dialects.

Grammar: The language is largely analytic but features agglutinative suffixes that encode tense, aspect, mood, definiteness, and case. The default word order is SVO, though discourse involves topic focus and flexible sequencing.

Writing system: A syllabary developed for Siimoja is described in world-building materials; in practice, most conlang writers use Latin transliterations. The native script comprises about 30 signs representing syllables.
