Shuv, also known as shuv-it, is a basic skateboarding trick. It involves the rider kicking the board to spin 360 degrees in a horizontal plane while they remain stationary. The trick is executed by placing the back foot on the tail of the skateboard and the front foot slightly forward, angled across the board. As the rider pops the tail and simultaneously flicks their front foot off the side of the nose, the board rotates. The rider then catches the board with their feet and lands.
