Sharlo is a former Iranian–Greek mixed martial artist who competed in various organizations, including the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born in Athens, Greece, Sharlo holds Greek citizenship but represented Iran in international competitions.

Sharlo began his mixed martial arts career in the early 2000s, competing in several organizations, and had a record of 8 wins and 6 losses before signing with the UFC in 2010. He made his Octagon debut against Matthew Riddle at UFC 122, but lost via technical knockout in the third round.
