seostega
Seostega is an extinct genus of early tetrapodomorph vertebrates known from fragmentary fossil material dating to the Late Devonian. The genus is poorly known, and its exact taxonomic placement is uncertain due to the limited nature of the remains. In many reviews Seostega is treated as a dubious or indeterminate form rather than a clearly diagnosable genus.
The preserved material is fragmentary, consisting of only a small subset of skeletal elements. As a result,

Significance: If validated, Seostega could contribute to understanding the diversity and timing of early tetrapod evolution
