samverkum
Samverkum is a small settlement located in the province of Uppland in central Sweden. The village lies approximately 12 kilometres north of the municipality seat of Västerås and is surrounded by mixed forest and agricultural land. Historically, Samverkum developed as a modest fishing and farming community along the eastern shore of Lake Mälar. The earliest recorded mention of the locality dates back to the 14th century, when it appeared in a royal land survey as a settlement of tenant farmers.
