reisilihan

Reisilihan is a term used in the Philippines to refer to the process of reconciliation and peacebuilding between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), a separatist group in the southern part of the country. The term is a combination of the words "reconciliation" and "silihan," which means "hand" in the local language, symbolizing the joining of hands in the pursuit of peace.

The process began in 2012 with the signing of the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro, a peace accord that aims to establish a Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
