It refers to historical and ongoing territorial disagreements between Finland and its neighboring countries, primarily Russia and Sweden. These disputes have often stemmed from differing interpretations of historical treaties, ethnic boundaries, and strategic interests.

Throughout history, the Finnish border has been a subject of significant flux, particularly during periods of conflict and shifting political landscapes.
