pulssisuuttimet
Pulssisuuttimet, known in English as pulse jet engines, are a type of simple jet engine that produces thrust through a series of intermittent explosions. They consist of a combustion chamber, an intake valve, and a nozzle. Fuel and air are mixed in the combustion chamber. Ignition causes a rapid expansion of gases, which are expelled through the nozzle, creating thrust. The expanding gases also create a low-pressure area that draws more air and fuel into the chamber, initiating the next cycle. This cyclical process, characterized by rapid bursts of thrust, gives the engine its name.
Unlike continuous flow jet engines, pulssisuuttimet do not require a compressor. The intermittent nature of their
