Publicis Groupe SA, commonly referred to as Publicis, is a French multinational advertising and communications holding company. It was founded in 1926 by Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet in Paris. The name Publicis is derived from the Latin publicus, meaning 'of the people.' Over the decades, Publicis grew into one of the world's largest advertising groups, with a global footprint spanning more than 100 countries and a broad client base across industries.

Publicis organizes its business around four global solution hubs: Publicis Communications (creative and content services), Publicis Media (media planning and buying), Publicis Sapient (digital transformation and consulting), and Publicis Health (healthcare communications). The group expanded its digital and data capabilities through the 2015 acquisition of Sapient, which was integrated to form Publicis Sapient, and in 2019 through the acquisition of Epsilon, a data-driven marketing company.
