Promowani is a Polish term formed as the masculine personal plural of promowany, the past passive participle of promować (to promote). In everyday usage, promowani refers to people who have received a promotion, i.e., have moved to a higher rank, status, or position. The form can function as an adjective or as a noun phrase naming the group of people who have been promoted, for example: "Promowani pracownicy otrzymali awanse" or "Zostali promowani na wyższe stanowiska."
