Produktywne is a Polish adjective used in linguistics to describe a morphological or lexical process that regularly produces new words or word forms. When a pattern is productive, speakers can derive novel terms by applying it to existing bases without requiring special linguistic knowledge. Productivity is a property of a process that can change over time; some patterns may be highly productive in one period or dialect and less so in another.

In Polish, productive processes include a wide range of derivational and compounding methods. Common suffixes and prefixes frequently form new nouns, verbs, or adjectives, and productive compounding allows new words to be created by combining existing stems. Because productivity depends on usage, it is often investigated with corpora, dictionaries, and psycholinguistic experiments to determine how readily new forms are accepted and used.

Productivity contrasts with non-productive patterns, which rarely yield new words or are restricted to fixed lexicalized forms. The study of produktivity helps explain how languages expand their vocabularies and how historical changes in morphology influence word formation.
