Produisant is the present participle of the French verb produire, which means to produce or to yield. It is used in two main ways: as a participle in non-finite clauses and as a participial adjective describing something that produces another thing. As a participial adjective, produisant can modify a noun to indicate that the noun is capable of producing something.
