predpokladoch

Predpokladoch is the locative plural form of predpoklad, a Slovak term meaning "assumption" or "premise." It denotes conditions or propositions assumed to be true for the sake of argument, modeling, or analysis. In logic, research, and policy writing, predpoklady serve as the starting points from which reasoning proceeds; they are not proven within the current work. They may be explicit or implicit. The term is closely related to, yet broader than, hypotéza (hypothesis) and to premisa used in formal logic.

In usage, predpokladoch appears in phrases such as "o predpokladoch tohto modelu" (about the assumptions of this model) or "pri predpokladoch tej štúdie" (under the assumptions of that study). Clarifying predpoklady helps readers assess validity, robustness, and replicability.
