pontosságát
Pontosságát is the accusative, third-person singular possessive form of the Hungarian noun pontosság, which means "accuracy," "precision," or "punctuality." Morphologically it combines the root pontos ("accurate" or "exact") with the nominalizing suffix -ság to form pontosság, and adds the possessive suffix -a (his/her/its) followed by the accusative marker -t to indicate that the possessed quality is the object of a verb or preposition.
The form pontosságát is used when referring to the accuracy or exactness that belongs to a person,
- "A műszer pontosságát kalibrálni kell." (The accuracy of the instrument must be calibrated.)
- "Vizsgáljuk meg a mérés pontosságát." (Let us examine the accuracy of the measurement.)
Related forms include pontosság (unmarked noun), pontossága (his/her/its accuracy as a subject or possessor), and other
