otvori
Otvori is a common verb form meaning "open" used as a direct command in several South Slavic languages. In Latin-script orthographies such as Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, and Montenegrin, otvori is the second-person singular imperative of the verb otvoriti (to open). It is used when addressing one person informally, for example: Otvori vrata. It can be found on signs, instructions, and in everyday speech.
In Bulgarian and Macedonian the corresponding imperatives are written in Cyrillic as отвори and transliterate to otvori.
Etymology and related forms: otvori comes from the root related to the verb otev- or отвар- meaning
