oktanovém
Oktanové refers to a chemical compound or a property related to the octane rating of fuel. Octane is a hydrocarbon with the chemical formula C8H18, existing as several isomers. The most common isomer is n-octane. In the context of fuels, particularly gasoline, "oktanové" relates to the octane number, a measure of a fuel's resistance to knocking or pinging during combustion in an internal combustion engine. A higher octane number indicates greater resistance to knocking.
The octane rating is determined by comparing the fuel's knocking characteristics to those of isooctane (2,2,4-trimethylpentane)
