Objektilauseis is a term used in Estonian linguistics to describe the use of clauses that function as the object of a main verb, noun, or adjective. Such a clause supplies the content of what is believed, perceived, stated, or commanded, rather than an noun phrase object. In Estonian grammar, clausal objects are typically subordinate clauses and may be finite or non-finite in form. Finite clausal objects are usually introduced by conjunctions such as et (that): Ma arvan, et ta tuleb.
