Nadkomorow was a title of a high-ranking official in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, serving as the president of the provincial sejmik (assembly) of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland. The term "nadkomorow" is derived from the Latin word "praepositus," meaning "preposition" or "prepositioned," reflecting the official's role as the head of the provincial assembly.

The position of nadkomorow was established in the 16th century and was held by a nobleman who was elected by the provincial sejmik. The nadkomorow's primary responsibilities included presiding over the provincial assembly, representing the province in the national sejm (parliament), and acting as a judge in certain legal matters. The nadkomorow also had significant administrative and judicial powers within their province.

The title of nadkomorow was not limited to the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland; similar positions existed in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, where the official was known as the "naczelnik." The nadkomorow's office was an important part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth's political and administrative structure, reflecting the influence of the nobility in the governance of the realm. The position was abolished in the late 18th century as part of the reforms introduced by the Partitions of Poland.
