Motregulatoriska describes regulatory processes that oppose or balance another regulatory system, contributing to homeostasis by counteracting the primary signal. In physiology and endocrinology, motregulatoriska or counter-regulatory mechanisms are those that offset the actions of a dominant regulator, helping to restore or maintain stable conditions when signals shift.

A central area of motregulatoriska regulation is glucose homeostasis.
