Montereres are a type of large, flightless bird native to the fictional continent of Eldoria. They are characterized by their distinctive, iridescent plumage that shifts in color from deep blues and greens to fiery oranges and reds depending on the angle of the light. Montereres stand approximately two meters tall and possess powerful legs, enabling them to run at considerable speeds across the Eldorian plains. Their diet consists primarily of hardy grasses and subterranean tubers, which they unearth with their strong, beak-like snouts.
