The term "mitokondriumszervek" is a Hungarian compound word that translates to "mitochondrial organelles" or "mitochondria." In biology, mitochondria are crucial double-membraned organelles found in eukaryotic cells. They are often referred to as the "powerhouses" of the cell because they generate most of the cell's supply of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), used as a source of chemical energy.
