megakarüotsücyte
A megakaryocyte is a large bone marrow cell responsible for the production of platelets. These cells are multinucleated, meaning they contain multiple nuclei, or a single large nucleus with multiple lobes. This characteristic is a result of repeated DNA replication without cell division, a process known as endoreduplication. Megakaryocytes are the largest cells in the bone marrow, typically measuring between 30 and 100 micrometers in diameter. Their cytoplasm is abundant and contains granules that will eventually be released as platelets.
The development of megakaryocytes from hematopoietic stem cells is a complex process regulated by various growth
