Lõikehambad, also known as incisors in English, are the eight teeth located at the front of the mouth, four in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. They are the most visible teeth and play a crucial role in the initial stages of eating. Their primary function is to cut and bite food into smaller pieces. The central incisors are the largest and most prominent, followed by the lateral incisors situated next to them.
The structure of a lõikehammas is characterized by a broad, flat biting edge. Unlike molars, they have
