linjassa

Linjassa is the inessive singular form of the Finnish noun linja, meaning “in a line” or “in line.” The word is used to indicate position within a line of people or objects, and it can also denote alignment with a standard, plan, or policy.

Origin and form: Linja originates from the Finnish lexeme linja, which in turn reflects Swedish linje or related Proto-Finnic roots.
