Common forms include exclusive licenses, which grant the licensee the sole right to exploit the rights in the defined scope; non-exclusive licenses, which allow multiple licensees including the licensor; and sole licenses, which grant rights to the licensee while still permitting the licensor to use the rights in a limited way.
