The Ladinavesi is an insectivorous bird, feeding on a wide range of invertebrates including beetles, grasshoppers, and caterpillars. It also consumes seeds, particularly those of grasses and wildflowers. Its diet varies by season, with insects being more prominent during the breeding season and seeds during periods of food scarcity.
