lämpöjohtokyvyllisyyteen
lämpöjohtokyvy is the Finnish term for thermal conductivity. It is a material property that describes its ability to conduct heat. In simpler terms, it indicates how well a substance transfers heat energy from a hotter region to a colder region. Materials with high thermal conductivity, such as metals like copper and aluminum, allow heat to flow through them easily. Conversely, materials with low thermal conductivity, like wood, plastic, and insulating materials such as fiberglass, resist the flow of heat.
The unit of thermal conductivity in the International System of Units (SI) is watts per meter-kelvin (W/(m·K)).
