Kuptove is a coastal archipelago and cultural region in the fictional continent of Vesparia. The name derives from the Kuptovan language, spoken by the island inhabitants, and is often translated as "harbor of stories." The archipelago includes three principal islands—Kupta, Olra, and Seln—and several smaller islets. The main settlement is the port city of Seln on the central island.

Kuptove's history traces to maritime communities that emerged around 900 CE. It was incorporated into the Vesparian federation in the 17th century after a series of treaties with neighboring island polities. Today it operates as a semi-autonomous region with its own local council and customary law, while defense and foreign relations fall under the federation's purview.

Economy and culture are closely linked to the sea. The Kuptove economy centers on fishing, aquaculture, and timber, augmented by small-scale craft industries such as glassblowing and boatbuilding. Tourism has grown, focused on coastal scenery, traditional music, and the annual Harvest of Tides festival.

Language and cultural practices reflect a maritime heritage. The Kuptovan language has two main dialects—North Kuptovan and South Kuptovan—and features a system of verb-voice alternations common to the Vesparian language family. Traditional music uses stringed instruments and call-and-response singing, often performed during communal gatherings and festivals.

Notable features include the Kuptove lighthouse on Kupta's western cape, a historic navigational aid dating to the 18th century. The archipelago is also known for seasonal seabird migrations and a distinctive algae-based cuisine that combines local harvests with coastal flavors.
