Kudoksellisia refers to a category of biological tissues found in plants, characterized by their cellular structure and specialized functions. The term originates from the Finnish language, where "kudos" means "tissue" and "sellinen" relates to cells, combining to describe cell-based tissues. These tissues are fundamental to plant anatomy, performing roles such as transport, support, storage, and protection.

Plant tissues are broadly classified into two main types: meristematic and permanent. Meristematic tissues consist of undifferentiated cells capable of division, enabling growth.
